Say no to nuclear proliferation!

Progressive Democrats of America write that Bush wants to exempt India from a nuclear non-proliferation treaty, but a California democrat has filed a resolution to stop this potential start to a new arms race.

Rep. Howard Berman has filed H. Res. 711, which mandates that nuclear policy toward India will remain unchanged until the administration resolves inconsistencies between this current proposal and the United States-India Peaceful Atomic Energy Cooperation act of 2006, otherwise known as the Hyde Act. Please ask your congress members to support H. Res 711. For a look at the issue, see this chart from the Carnegie Endowment.
