End the War -- Bring the Troops Home

This war has been about imposing a neo-liberal version of democracy, dominated entirely by corporate and military interests and investor elites with the intent of creating a privatized economy.

One step in changing this process is to get us out of Iraq and to prevent other wars. A new international group, the No Bases Network, has organized an inaugural conference in Ecuador, March 5-9. There are more than 900 U.S. and foreign military bases in every corner of the world. For more go to www.no-bases.net

Getting out of Iraq is only the start. We must also stay focused on our work here at home to continually challenge the neo-liberal agenda and work to end corporate rule. This requires on-going self-education, greater public education, and focused actions.

Feb. 16-26: Congressional recess. Call to make an appointment and go with a group to lobby your Congressperson to get out of Iraq, cut off the funds and bring the troops home.
